Lady Gaga is set to give high-end New York City department store Barneys a bizarre festive makeover.
Shoppers will walk through an entrance disguised to “create the illusion of walking into the mouth of a giant monster-like Lady Gaga” from November 21 until Christmas.
Once inside the store, gift hunters will be able to visit “a jewelry shop created out of an oversized Lady Gaga-turned-spider and a boudoir in the shape of a giant wig.”
And the fifth floor of the store will feature gift ideas, toys, clothes, make-up and CDs personally chosen for fans by the pop superstar, who will officially launch the holiday initiative at Barneys next week.
A portion of the gifts connected to the Gaga initiative will benefit Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.
Plans for the holiday pop-up store, called Gaga’s Workshop, were previously announced in August.
