Thanks to her outlandish style, Gaga has helped catapult the Japanese graduate – whose final year collection showed only last year – onto the global fashion stage. She admires the designer and his creations so much that she now has 14 pairs of the impossible-looking shoes.
Gaga has now sported the heels from America to Singapore, famously wearing a nude leather pair in the music video for her hit song Alejandro. Less prominently, though more bizarrely perhaps, the diva even wore a black pair, complete with dangerous-looking gold studs, to a yoga session in Taipei.
